Surge Relief Valve
There are two types of Surge Relief Valve: pilot operated and nitrogen-control.
Pilot operated surge relief valve takes pipe pressure as driving force, mainly used in refined oil pipeline; nitrogen-control surge relief valve takes nitrogen as the driving force, mainly used in asphalt, crude oil, heavy lubricating oil pipeline.

IEC 60534-2-1 Industrial-process control valves - Part 2- 1:Flow capacity- Sizing equations for fluid flow under installed conditions
ANSI/ASME B 16.34 Valves-Flanged,Threaded,and Welding End
ANSI/ASME B 16.5 Pipe flanges and flanged fittings
ANSI B 16.104 Control valve seat leakage
IEC 60534-2-3 Industrial-process control valves - Part 2-3:Flow capacity-Test procedures
IEC 60534-4 Industrial-process control valves - Part 4:Inspection and routine testing
High flow capacity avoids sudden surge and ensures safety of the system.
Sensitive reaction allows the valve open rapidly when reaches the set pressure and close as the surge pressure goes down.
No external power or operation needed.System protection can be achieved by pressure sensing system.
